When DoubleTree Suites received a notice from the NYC Department of Enviromental Protection ordering them to install Backflow Prevention Devices, DoubleTree’s engineer knew selection of the right contractor was critical. The installation would have to be performed late at night on a tight schedule to minimize the water shutdown’s impact to guests. Failure to do so could tarnish the hotel’s sterling reputation and negatively impact future sales revenue. There was no room for error!

Prestige was contacted by DoubleTree’s facility engineer and got right to work putting together a precise plan to complete the job within the time constraints.

Coordinating closely with the building maintenance staff, Prestige was able to schedule the water shutdown during a time period that minimally impacted guests. Working into the wee hours of the morning, installation of the backflow preventers was completed under the careful direction of Prestige management and labor.
