Built in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx, 1600 Sedgwick Ave is a magnificent high-rise building. Standing 25 stories tall and containing 768 apartments, with breathtaking views of the Harlem River.

When the Riverview complex decided to make the switch to duel fuel (oil / gas) for their heating needs, they knew the forthcoming task would not be an easy one. The chosen contractor would have to coordinate with Con Edison during the entire process, and interruption of service to Riverview’s thousands of tenants was not an option. Careful planning was vital.

Prestige attacked the challenge with enthusiasm and expedience. When contracted for the conversion, Prestige began the arduous planning process required to switch Riverview’s two 400 horsepower boilers to duel fuel.

Working in conjunction with Con Edison and Riverview Management, Prestige was able to complete the conversion ahead of schedule, with no interruption of service to 1600 Sedgwick’s tenants.
